Dr. Rajendra Agrawal, A renowned Physician & cardiologist of the region he is an ardent public figure for his social achievements & services. He has passed his MBBS in 1978 from Government Medical College, Nagpur and did MD in Medicine in 1983 from Government Medical College, Nagpur. Due to his social dedication and great attachment to his native place, he started practicing at Kamptee in 1983, & rendered emergency services in the field of Cardiology dialectology , pulmonologist and internal medicine along with ICCU & ICU etc.
He has provided the unique state of art infrastructure & became milestone in the history of Medicine in Kamptee as he is the first physician to start ICU & ICCU, Echo cardiography, Ventilator, CBC, central Oxygen unit, central suction unit, etc. facilities in this region to his credit.
During this phase he always updated himself academically by participating in various national & international conferences in home & abroad & was fellow cardiologist in Vienna Paris & Stockholm. Besides he was faculty in European cardiological society, participated in diabetes study which was held in Paris.
He is founder secretary of IMA Kamptee Kanhan & also served as the President of IMA Kamptee. He is founder President of Diabetic Club of India, Kamptee chapter. He is a life member of various medical organizations like Cardiological society of India, Diabetic association of lndia, RSSDI, and Critical Care Society of India.
His social dedication is memorable to the society, as a President of Lions club Kamptee central, served as District chairman in Lions district for many years. With other organizations his few Nobel works includes clean Kamptee project with Vyakti Vikas Kendra.
